The football tournament will be held in Gabon from December 9 to December 21.
Competitors in the Economic Community of Central African States (CEMAC) held a drawing ceremony on September 28th at the Friendship Stadium in Libreville in front of representatives of the States and the CEMAC Commission. Results of the draw are as follows: Group A will consist of Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and Cameroon and Group B will consist of Congo, Chad, and the Central African Republic. They reviewed the rules of the sub-regional competition at preparatory meetings held earlier this year. The tournament gives the National Nzalang an opportunity to recover from failing to qualify for the 2014 Brazil World Cup.
