Equatorial Guinea to Lead UNIFFAC

The Republic of Equatorial Guinea was selected to lead the Central African Football Federations’ Union (UNIFFAC).

The President of the Equatoguinean Football Federation (FEGUIFUT), Andrés Jorge Mbomio Nsem, was selected to serve as the Vice President of the athletic governing body at the UNIFFAC Congress.

Equatorial Guinea has invested heavily in and been involved with athletics on the international level, including hosting the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015 at the state-of-the-art facilities in Malabo and receiving the former head of The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

The Congress was held in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
